Beautifully Aged!!

With comfy seats on a warm bus (that literally had a HUGE TV streaming the live fireplace!), Christmas music playing on the speakers, hot chocolate in hand, yummy sugar cookies from a local baker, and oh…. a bus full of 32 beautifully aged humans...we were off for an evening of viewing Christmas Lights!!

Our first stop was Central Park here in Spruce Grove. Can we all just take a moment to THANK the workers who put these lights up for us?!?! Sooooooo pretty!!! We appreciate all the cold fingers it took to put this masterpiece together!!

We hopped off the bus to take a quick picture. Most of the passengers could not easily get on and off the bus but we know they were waving from inside

We ran into Perk’s (who stayed open late just for us!) to pick up 40 delicious hot chocolates. Then we headed to see Castrol Raceway’s Magic of Lights which was so spectacular!!! Eeek!! Go if you can!!

The only thing that went a little bit wrong during the whole evening was that the windows on the bus became really foggy and iced up a bit...but Scarlett offered up her advice to everyone "If you just lick the windows you will be able to see better" Gah!!

“Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional”
- Walt Disney.

Our passengers tonight did not hold back in joining Hazen & Scarlett’s rendition of Jingle Bells, Silent Night, Roudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Jingle Bells again, and Jingle Bells four more times lol!!

Receiving 32 Merry Christmas hugs, and hearing all of their gratefulness for the evening, may have just made this the best Christmas memory for us, ever

Merry Christmas!!
